Why Conserve Water?

We are all aware of the requirement to safeguard our water supplies and to try and avoid wastage. As water becomes more precious and scarce, increased regulation will no doubt play its part.

Developers will be expected to show legislators and consumers that homes have been designed and equipped with a form of control device that will contribute to minimizing wastage of water through the outlets in the home, and which conforms to a water conservation design practice.

There is also legislation in place that allows water companies to install a water meter when a house or other property is sold. It is likely therefore that in the future more people will receive metered water – so the ability to avoid wastage will offer a financial benefit to users too.
