What are Manifolds?

The manifold allows controlled distribution of water flow to all the heating loops. From this point on commissioning, each heating loop can be calibrated to receive its design optimum flow of heated water. It is usually the point where all the plastic pipes which are buried beneath the floor are connected, so it is here that airvents are provided, fill and drain points are accessed, and the manual isolation valves are provided. Alternately, thermo-electric actuators can be fitted to the return manifold inlets for automatic switching of heating zones by room thermostats.

Description: Modular system, each outlet being an individual segment. Supplied pre-assembled with moulded end plates and moulded connection segments that include automatic air-venting and self sealing fill and drain port with hose fitting. 1,500 Litres per hour capacity. Built in flow-balancing valves, temperature gauges and 11/4" bsp brass connection points.

Plastic resists lime scale deposits, and system designed for accurate flow regulation.
