Modern underfloor distribution systems benefit from advances made by manufacturers to supply purpose made sets which combine the pump and the blending valve to circulate and regulate the temperature.
The S1 unit is one of the most advanced in its field, and takes the whole process to a much efficient level. Integral to the unit is a high limit safety thermostat, a wiring box, with pre-wired pump, integral check valves and bypass, isolation valves and provision to add on a distribution manifold to supply higher temperature heating loops for panel radiators or towel rails.
The thermostatic blending cartridge features increased flow capacity is mounted in specifically designed cast housing.

Heating Pump Mixer Set
Description: The temperature regulation unit is specifically designed to be used in 'mixed' and varied systems – combinations of underfloor circuits, radiant panels and other heat emitters. Constant flow variations and varied system designs are compensated for in this set point regulating unit.
The temperature is regulated by a hydraulic mixing valve in a specially designed cast housing, with a control temperature range of 25 – 55 C. A high temperature safety thermostat is pre-connected to the wiring box, which is also pre-wired to the pump.
Wiring in is simply connecting 240v switched live to the Receiver (refer to underfloor heating controls section)
The mixing valve, once set, can be locked into position to prevent tampering.
Even if the thermal load of the secondary circuit or the inlet temperature from the boiler change, the mixing valve automatically adjusts the flow rates until it obtains the set temperature.
Flow and temperature gauges mounted on the flow casting.
Two sizes of pump available, 25/60 and 25/80.
Use with the S1 manifold sets, with built-in shut-off and balancing valves, and differential by-pass kit for the primary circuit.
The 172521.003 unit also includes a 3 way distribution manifold to supply high temperature circuits, e.g. towel rails, panel radiators etc.
