Motorised Valve
Description:The SF 2 port motorized zone valves and SF 3 port motorized diverting valves are powered by an electric actuator and have two operating positions depending on whether the motor is activated (energized) or not. The valves can be supplied with one or two auxiliary switches on request. These are activated when the valve switches and are usually linked to a pump to hold the pump off until the valve is open.
The valves are equipped with an external lever for manually positioning the shut-off ball in its central position.
Both the 2 and 3 port valves are rated to operate at temperatures up to 160°C. The internal ball used for closing or diverting is made of a material suitable for aqueous-glycol based fluids and the higher temperatures that can be experienced in solar thermal systems.
