Where might manifolds be used?

Coiled loop collector systems are looped back to a central manifold. Plastic MDPE or HDPE pipe is recommended by the heat pump manufacturers, in a range of sizes. Generally, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm and 40mm are the standard sizes usually recommended. On return to the manifold this is then reduced down into the manifold headers from where the flow and return connections are made to the heat pump unit.
